Dew-kissed plants, warm sunshine, crisp mountain air, field trips, dirt beneath your feet, and the wind caressing your hands during road trips – these are the joys of summer. I cherish the shift from the hectic pace of May schedules to the liberating essence of summer in June. It brings a sense of freedom, as stress dissipates and is replaced with vibrant activity. A time to play.
Speaking of play…the studio has been quiet this past month as I have been out enjoying more activity outdoors. Collecting experiences and photographs for inspiration. I have this urge to get back after a break now though. I see some mountains seeping into my work in the near future. What does your creative flow look like in the summer months?
We have some upcoming classes and events though I would love to share with you all. And don’t miss our June art prompts this month below!
Make Create Express 2025 - I am thrilled to be a part of this collaborative workshop again hosted by Galia with Art is Magic. You can join us for the free teaser sessions that will release in July or join for the entire workshop. Details found here.
